Massage Therapy FAQ's
COST: The cost for a massage can vary greatly
from location to location. You can expect to pay as little as $40 for a
half hour massage to over $100 for a one hour massage.
DRESS: You do not have to completely undress
for a massage. You only need to undress to where you are comfortable. The
massage therapist can work around whatever clothing you have on.
COVERING: Your therapist will provide you with
a towel or drape to cover yourself with. Some will require you to be
covered while others will allow you to be uncovered.
PARTS: Your Masseuse or Masseur may vary
in what parts of your body they massage. Check with your therapist to be
sure.
CERTIFICATIONS: A certification means that
your massage therapist has received the necessary training to give a
proper therapeutic massage.
LICENSES: A license means that your masseuse
or masseur has the legal right to offer therapeutic massage in your area.
COMFORT: Your massage therapist is there to make you
comfortable and relaxed. Don't worry about how your body looks as they
have seen every type of body imaginable. Don't worry if you are overweight
and don't worry about being gawked at or ogled.
